Scholz & Friends is one of Europe’s largest advertising agencies. The company was founded in Hamburg by Jürgen Scholz, Uwe Lang, and Michael Menzel in 1981.
THE CHALLENGE: Provide full-service video shooting and editing for Horizon 2020 event video
Scholz & Friends wanted to create an event video of the Horizon 2020 conference in Dakar, Senegal. This is a very important event since Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation program. Scholz & Friends commissioned Stark Crew to provide full-service video shooting and editing.
THE APPROACH
Stark Crew provided a video crew to cover the event including a producer/director, sound technician, and camera operator. We also did the post-production work and edited the video locally, including graphics, music, and subtitles.
The Stark Crew video crew filmed speakers and panelists, as well as general shots of audience reactions. We also took shots of people mingling and networking. Using a drone, our video team captured “beauty shots” of the city of Dakar and the event venue. After the shooting, our team on the ground in Dakar quickly edited the video with music, graphics, and subtitles.
